The nose has a distinctive red fruit character with a brambly, fresh cut wood quality. Lots of spicy cedar and cinnamon aromas. Fresh red and black fruits, like raspberries, blackberries and cherries dominate the mid-palate along with a dose of savory, earthy spice that leads to a firm and edgy finish. This is a medium to full bodied Grenache with a great backbone of acid and firm tannins that are partly due to whole cluster fermentation. The finish is lengthy and distinctly earthy and will benefit from moderate age or a bit of time in a decanter.
Bright, vibrant, light garnet color in the glass. The nose is fresh and intense with dusty, strawberry and sweet floral/herbal notes. With some air, warm spices and earthy notes of stone, bramble and more herbs appear. On the palate the wine has mouth filling, medium weight with a wonderfully round, glossy mouthfeel and it remains lively with more berries and an earthy forest floor quality. Fine tannins and a bit of spice from the light use of stems are apparent on the finish as well as a distinctively chalky, ocean stone like minerality.
This wine has a glass staining dark ruby red color. The aroma jumps from the glass and is filled with ripe red fruits, cassis, leather and a bit of spicy white pepper. The woodsy aromatics are derived from both a bit of new French oak and the varietals themselves. On the palate the wine is generous but firm with sweet, sappy fruit and savory spice. It’s obvious there was a good deal of tannin here as the wine has great power but a lengthy stay in barrel has softened into to a plush, mouth coating richness. Expect this wine to age well for 15+ years.

This is our first release under the new Low Tide label and it is a delicious way to start! Bright, crisp and fresh is the theme here and that makes our Albariño the perfect choice for the dinner table, on the back patio, or all by itself.
This wine has a beautiful dark, saturated ruby color. This version has an interesting blend thanks to what Mother Nature gave us in 2019. With even amounts of Grenache and Mourvèdre and just a touch of Syrah the spice in this wine is warm and earthy. The nose is filled with dark fruits, blackberries, blueberries and plums. There’s wonderful balking spices and hints of lavender as well. On the pallet the wine has an easy, medium body mouthfeel with soft, resolved tannins and good acidity keeping it all in check. You can enjoy this with a wide variety of foods thanks to its easy-going weight and fruity character.

Radiant and shimmering deep straw in color to a light golden hue. On the nose this wine has distinctive white flower and orchard fruit aromas. On the palate honeysuckle and nectarines along with fleshy peaches and apricots are interlaid with sweet spicy notes and hints of vanilla cream on the finish. There is lots of delicious fruit packed in this wine, but it is the vibrant, energetic acid profile that strikes the palate from start to finish that I find keeps me coming back to the glass over and over again.
