The 2021 Walk Slow has a dark, ruby red color. On the nose, strawberry and cherry fruits are surrounded by clove, cola spice and dried herbs along with a touch of earthiness. On the palate this medium bodied wine is elegant and silky and boasts more of the red fruits and spice found in the aroma. This wine should age gracefully for a decade.
This wine has a rich, dark red color leaning towards purple in the center of the glass. On the nose, earthy, woodsy aromas are joined by dark berries and notes of dried meats and mocha powder. The wine exhibits medium body with velvety tannins and a juicy, mouthwatering finish due to flinty, crisp acidity. This is a wine that will work on practically any occasion, with a wide variety of foods. A blend of 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Mourvédre, 20% Petite Sirah.
Radiant and shimmering deep straw in color to a light golden hue. On the nose this wine has distinctive white flower and orchard fruit aromas. On the palate honeysuckle and nectarines along with fleshy peaches and apricots are interlaid with sweet spicy notes and hints of vanilla cream on the finish. There is lots of delicious fruit packed in this wine, but it is the vibrant, energetic acid profile that strikes the palate from start to finish that I find keeps me coming back to the glass over and over again.
Our Grenache Rosé is back and is now a Low Tide Wine! As part of our inaugural release of this new label the Rosé fits in perfectly with a bright, crisp style that is what Low Tide is all about. 100% Grenache Rosé.
Shimmering pale straw to a light golden hue. The nose is filled with gala apples, lemon blossoms and chamomile tea. There’s a savory note of sesame seeds and baking spices as well. On the palate, more of the golden apple notes as well as a bit of brioche and almond make way for a nicely focused, crisp and flinty, mineral finish.
Our Chenin Blanc from 2022 is a part of the inaugural release of our new Low Tide label. These wines are meant to emphasize the fresh, crisp, fruity stye of wine our coastal location provides.
Light ruby red to deep garnet in color. The nose has a distinctive red fruit character with a brambly, fresh cut wood quality. Lots of spicy cedar and cinnamon aromas. Fresh red fruits, like raspberries, strawberries and cherries dominate the mid-palate along with a dose of savory, earthy spice that leads to a firm and edgy finish. This is a medium bodied Grenache with a great backbone of acid and lean structure. The finish is lengthy and bright and will benefit from moderate age or a bit of time in a decanter.
This is our first release under the new Low Tide label and it is a delicious way to start! Bright, crisp and fresh is the theme here and that makes our Albariño the perfect choice for the dinner table, on the back patio, or all by itself.
