The 2020 Walk Slow has a dark, ruby red color. On the nose, strawberry and cherry fruits are surrounded by clove, cola spice and dried herbs along with a touch of earthiness. On the palate this medium bodied wine is elegant and silky and boasts more of the red fruits and spice found in the aroma. This wine should age gracefully for a decade.
Grown on a steep, rocky slope on the western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, this Bentrock Vineyard Pinot Noir exhibits the earthy, crushed stone minerality that we look for in great Pinot Noir.
