Dark, ruby red color in the glass.  The nose is unmistakably Bordeaux in character.  It offers up cassis and currents, with a woodsy tobacco and cedary oak profile. On the pallet, more red fruits and a graphite note are framed by a medium to full-bodied mouth feel. The wine has smooth, polished tannins and terrific length.  It should develop well for the next two decades or more.
